ROBOTC is a cross-robotics-platform programming language for popular educational robotics systems.
Site (building) licenses do not require an online activation: they have a unique Site License Files that must be installed with the software.
To download your License Files, follow these steps:
Navigate to the ROBOTC License Portal (https://www.robotc.net/licensing/). Select the Portal that correlates with your LicenseID bu clicking on the appropriate red circle.
Log in using the provided LicenseID and Customer Password.
Register your license by entering your information (* indicates a required field) and clicking submit. (If already registered, please move to step 4).
Select 'Licenses & Activations' to view your license.
Select the correct license by clicking on the appropriate License ID or Product.
Click the 'Download License File' button to download the license file to your computer.
- Ensure that a '.lfx' file (example: RCLEGOV4.ifx) has been downloaded, and that its name has not been appended with a "(1)". If muiltiple copies have been downloaded, Windows may change the name. If this is the case, you must remove the appended text or the software will not activate.
- Copy the license file (.lfx) for yoy=ur 'Downloads' folder.
Paste the license file into the ROBOTC root install directory.
- The default directory for a 64-bit computer is C:\Program Files\Robomatter Inc\ROBOTC Development Environment 4.X
- The default directory for a 32-bit computer is C:\Program Files (x86)\Robomatter Inc\ROBOTC Development Environment 4.X
