FTC 2009 Updates

FTC Teams and mentors,

       We are very excited to be able to support FTC teams and we continue to strive to be the best programming solution for the TETRIX hardware platform.  Last season we mentored hundreds of teams in the form of training webinars, by monitoring the ROBOTC forums, by posting the ROBOTC for MINDSTORMS curriculum on line at no charge, and by continuing to update www.ftctraining.com. Since last season we’ve had two full time programmers making game changing improvements to ROBOTC.  You will notice quite a difference in the functionality of the “motors and sensor wizards,” and you will love the new “servo debugger” which allows you to quickly pin-point the exact location of a servo motor without actually running a program.  You will also appreciate the level of “help documentation” built into the interface.  

We have put hundreds of thousands of dollars into the development of a resource that is what we consider the best in the world for the TETRIX platform.  You have the opportunity to download multiple copies of a free version of the software by registering below.  We’ve made a conscious decision to keep the software as inexpensive as possible for FTC teams.  You are able to download a full single license version of the software for $30. If you choose to purchase a 24 seat license the cost is approximately $15 per seat.  You could help us considerably by buying the software.  Free is good, and that is what we have done at this point.  We need your help.  If you agree that this is the best programming language and if you are using the programming language in your school or with your team, please consider purchasing it.  The money you spend to purchase the software will allow us to continue to support FTC.
