Post Lego-Solidworks Problems
is there converter who can convert lego (.something) into some file that can be opened in solidworks.

I asc this because some files that im using in solidworks are "inported1" and i can`t open them so i can use their dimension. I need that dimensions because i dont have all lego bricks that i need so i need 2 make them... But if there is any program that can convert ORIGINAL lego 3d into solidworks model or something like that it would be much easyer because i want that parts look like real lego...

Guys just 2 know im begginer it this lego modeling thing and i need it for project- project that is 100 times easyer that making robot... so i gues that some1 of you can help me .... TY

Guys is there any converter for converting ldraw files (.dat) into any file format that can be opened with solidworks

I'm not sure about a program that converts from ldraw, but we do have a repository of LEGO pieces available in Solidworks:

Thanks m8 for that...I download that 3 days ago but i still need more lego beam parts.

Btw all of lego parts ( when i open them in sw2008) are "imported1" (and when i click 2 edit some features from selected part it opens me window in which i need 2 search for iges files)I`m interested-how did u import those lego parts? Because they are original lego if you understand me.

That`s why i asked for converter coz i thought that u are directly convert .dat files from ldraw into some other file format usable in solidworls.

Your files are the best on the internet- what is your secret ? Pls Help me.

Is there any person who can give me lego models pls... my computer crashed and i dont have any of mine and i dl that lego parts from your site but that is not enough... and i cannot make them because i dont have measures :(
