Hi I was wondering if there was a way to inverse the foreground and background of the displayed text. I think it would be cool to code a "lightbar" type menu to make choices within a running program. If not one way to get around this sort of UI would be to use > & < around what would be the current selection such as:

Choice A
Choice B
>Choice C<
Choice D

So when it comes down to it, it's not really a big deal... I'm just curious.

Yep its defiantly possible, you would have to use the display commands. For the list of commands double click on the "display" list found on the left menu of the screen and it will bring up the descriptions.

you can place text at any x,y coordinate, so you can displaying the < > text next to your different options

I explored with writing inverse text and found it somewhat hard to read. So it never made it into the product version.

Surrounding the text with '<' and '>' would work.

Another alternative is to use flashing text. For this you can simply alternately write the text and then a blank line on a 100 to 250 millisecond interval.
