Forum for general C questions, tips, etc
Some problems and solutions I've seen here have nothing to do with platforms, and are really just questions about how to get things done in C. It would be nice to have an area for these types of things without having to imply that they are somehow specific to NXT, VEX, etc. [edit] I suppose in retrospect, those sorts of things could just as easily be put in with the 'general discussions.'

Re: Forum for general C questions, tips, etc
hello, you are right, SOME problems are actually general C programming problems.
BUT: a) RobotC doesn't keep ANSI C99 standards and so it's particularly diffferent from ANSI C, and b) SOME RobotC programmers are C programming starters, so it's all one to them if it's a C or a RobotC programming problem

But then again, Avidprogrammer does have a point. I also program in C++, and I use Dev C++ for that. I have had many problems with programming in C++ as I made my way up the learning curve, and I still do to this day. So shall I state again that I agree with Avidprogrammer.

Re: Forum for general C questions, tips, etc
how many posts in total are just about general C code (and are not related to robot programming)?
