Help system not installing (Lego Mindstorms, 4.27+)
We're finding that the MadCap help system is not installing consistently.
Out of six systems running either Windows XP or 7 and RobotC versions 4.27 through 4.30, the MadCap viewer software installed on only two of them. I didn't watch the install process on all these, but in a re-install on one there is no separate step for the help system. It does appear the help files are installed under the Robomatter path, but not the viewer.
We don't always have web access at our meeting locations, so we need a workaround or a way to separately install the help system. Any suggestions?

Hey there,
There's an installer for the MadCap help system in the Drivers/ folder of the ROBOTC 4.x install folder. It's called "SetupMadCapHelpViewer0630.msi". You can run that manually.

Thanks - that works. It needed to install .NET 4.1 on this older system. And it throws up some exception dialog each time a page is loaded - annoying, but livable. (One of our old systems can't install newer .NET, though.)
A suggestion for the developers - Just including the web pages in the distribution would be a lot simpler for everyone, since just about every system has a web browser.
Thanks
