Post lego encoder attachment programming ?
hi guys i got a problem we been tryin to use a servo motors feed back as way to track our robot bt the problem is whenever u power the motor it starts resisting meaning it cant be used as a rotating measuring unit with ur normal motor ,you can either rotate the servo motor and ur wheel motor together or ur servo motor never moves and breaks when its trying to be pushed by the wheel
to give u guys an idea this is what we r trying to do
http://www.education.rec.ri.cmu.edu/pre ... _print.pdf
bt this doesn't mention how to program it. if there was some way for it to stop resisting ...
i hope u guys understand what im tryna say and help us out xD :mrgreen:

Please use English and not SMS speak when you post stuff on the forums.

As for your problem. You should set the motor speed to 0 and make it float:
Code:
bFloatDuringInactiveMotorPWM = true;

Please note that this is for all motors directly attached to the NXT. I don't know how the affects the ones attached to the Tetrix motor controllers.

I don't know LabVIEW, you might have better luck on the LabVIEW forums, although I have no idea where those are, either, but I am sure they exist!
