Soon! We're working on get the last bits sorted out before we can release a beta build. Keep in mind that some features will not be supported straight away = Xander

 Re: RobotC for EV3
Our plan for our first BETA release. Our first BETA version will be released in next few days (Friday this week, or Monday next week)
BETA version will support the following: * Generic Motor Support (unregulated movements) * PID Motor Support (regulated movements) * Encoder Support (reading encoders + moving to encoder targets) * Full EV3 Sensor Support * Limited NXT Device Support (basic sensors + motors) * Normal ROBOTC features - Debugger, Multitasking, Variables, Debug Stream, etc.
Features not in the 1st BETA * I2C / TETRIX support * LCD support (drawing/printing text) * EV3 specific features (LEDs, buttons, sounds) * Bluetooth/Wifi specific commands * Daisy Chaining EV3's together and using daisy chained motors/sensors * Other stuff I'm probably not thinking of.
BETA Users will be able to either update the 16MB on-brick memory with a new kernel + ROBOTC firmware, or use a SD memory card to run the ROBOTC kernel + VM on.

 Re: RobotC for EV3
We now have the firmware loading working well, and that was one of the major blockers for us. I think an installer will need to be created and tested for this and then we're good to go for release, I believe Tim will be able to say more about that particular process than I can. = Xander

I am also anxious for the beta release. I have already ported the GyroBoy LabView program to RobotC and can't wait to debug it.

 Re: RobotC for EV3
We'll have the website up tomorrow for download - the primary issue we're running into is a final delay-load DLL issue with the NI provided casper library (VM/clean machine testing of the installer)

 Re: RobotC for EV3
Just checking how the next build is going. Do we have a sneak preview of the features to be added and when it is going to be ready. How close to a commercial product is it expected to be.
