Hi William,
You would need to be using one of our Robot Virtual Worlds to do that. We'll be coming out with support for ROBOTC 4.0/VEX IQ in RVW soon.

Best,

Thanks Ryan,

Do you have a rough release date for this feature (ROBOTC 4.0/VEX IQ in RVW)?

Hi,
......so to make sure I understand. If I'm buying the lastest ROBOTC 4.0/VEX IQ it's not going to work in Virtual Worlds just yet? I'll need to wait for a few weeks?

Thanks

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your interest in ROBOTC and Robot Virtual Worlds. To be clear, ROBOTC 4.0 is currently compatible with Robot Virtual Worlds.

Currently, the robots in the virtual worlds include VEX Cortex models, along with some fun fantasy models as well. These can be fully programmed using the same commands as you use to control the Cortex. We are planning on adding an actual Virtual VEX IQ model to the lineup - the best thing to do is keep an eye out on the ROBOTC blog for updates: http://www.robotc.net/blog/
