 RCX TTT Player
That's what I'm working ATM. So far it will block the opponent from winning, place the last piece that will make itself win, but otherwise it just randomly places pieces.
Things to do:
1. Play more aggresively. 2. Accomplish one by implementing "forks", i.e. making it impossible for the opponent to block by making at least two opportunities to win. 3. Use my automatic air-pressure regulator prototype in the design. 4. Make win and lose music. 5. Make it recognize a draw.
No pics until it's done!

 Re: RCX TTT Player
If you don't know the entire TTT strategy, I can tell you. Of course, It would be cool if it learned how to play. The second player has no chance of winning if the first player is perfect, and if they are both, it's a tie.

 Re: RCX TTT Player
I know the TTT strategy. It works fine as it is now. I just haven't implemented the aggresive part of it yet.

 Re: RCX TTT Player
If you make it aggresive, you'll need an emergency shutoff button!

 Re: RCX TTT Player
You just need to keep it away from the launch codes.

 Re: RCX TTT Player
Will you make the robot able to play as first or second player? Will you make it impossible to beat or will you put some secret random glitch in the code that allows one to beat it every once in a while? Will it play on the screen or will it play on a board? What sensors does it use? Am I asking to many questions?

 Re: RCX TTT Player
It already does. No one is impossible to beat.... Physical board. Touch and light. Yes

 Re: RCX TTT Player
It'd be pretty hard to play on the screen since it's the RCX. New challenge! Play TTT with the only output being 4 numbers!

 Re: RCX TTT Player
When you say numbers, do you mean binary or decimal or hexadecimal? Are they the positions of the opponent's pieces or something else?

 Re: RCX TTT Player
The RCX display has 4 numbers that you can control. That's it. I was saying make a TTT game that can be played on it's display.

 Re: RCX TTT Player
Oh, okay. Misunderstanding. I don't have the RCX. That would be rather challenging.

 Re: RCX TTT Player
Ummm kinda sorta no.
I haven't worked on it. I was at an event last weekend, and haven't gotten around to it yet. Plus I have a Minecraft mod that I'm working on.
