 Communication errors
One of my teams, running RobotC 3.0 for Cortex, keeps having the following communication issue: "Failed to verify that a connection is available from PC to your device. Cannot communicate with VEX PIC Slave CPU. Master CPU communication is working."
Batteries are fresh and charged.

 Re: Communication errors
Hi Brian,
I would recommend redownloading the ROBOTC firmware to the affected robot.
To clarify, this group is using the older VEX PIC, right? If they're using the VEX Cortex, they'll want to go to Robot > Platform Type and select VEX 2.0 Cortex.

 Re: Communication errors
Yes, we are using the Cortex...i think it that solved the problem. Just working now on solving the VEX net issue...

 Re: Communication errors
Ok...I thought it was working, but it is back to the same problem:
Robot blinks green, while VEX net blinks yellow. They do it at the same time. They do this 3 times, then immediately after the 3rd, all lights flash red once. Then it cycles again.

 Re: Communication errors
Based on your description, it seems like the Cortex is searching for a VEXnet connection, but failing to establish one with the VEXnet Joysticks. Did you turn both the VEXnet Joysticks on at roughly the same time? Do they both have VEXnet USB Keys attached? Have you paired the Joystick with the Cortex: http://www.education.rec.ri.cmu.edu/pro ... _guide.pdf

 Re: Communication errors
Yes, we have established the VEXnet connection, and it works initially, but when we try to download a program, the Cortex flashes this series of lights: On the Cortex, the robot blinks green, while VEX net blinks yellow. They do it at the same time. They do this 3 times, then immediately after the 3rd, all lights flash red once. Then it cycles again.
