I can't get my vex joystick to move a moter plugged into any motor port. The Vexnet light is blinking on the joystick, and the robot light is blinking slowly green. The Cortex also has a blinking green venxnet light and the joystick is green and robot light is blinking green slow. From what I've read, this is correct.
In addition, I downloaded a simple program to the cortex and it moved the motor.
Any ideas?

Never mind. I needed to get it into user control mode. Startup learning curve to steep!
