Hi, I have just tried to download the application and got the following:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Unknown MySQL server host 'database.robotc.net' (1) in /home/robotc7/public_html/h99/global_config.php on line 8
cannot connect to server

Getting the same from home yesterday.
Anyone facing the same issue?

Good chance this has to do with the current migration of the robotc.net website to another provider. Send a mail to support@robotc.net, posting about it here probably won't do much good.

Thanks for letting me know. It is indeed due to the site migration. It successfully propagated to the new server, but there are still a few holes here and there. I thought I had found most of them last night, but I must have missed this one.

You should be able to download now. You may have to re-submit the form to get a new download URL.

I found that sometimes the simulator would hog my CPU and the virtual robot's timing would be off (but no graphical lag)

Downloaded and like it so far. I learned C++ over the summer, but still learning robotics. This helps with that a lot. I have an arduino and have been messing around with that, but have not gotten around to making a robot yet...

I absolutely love this!!!

I've had such a hard time getting myself to re-learn programming, but this is great! Small, simple tasks building to larger tasks just make this a great way for one to learn. I especially like the ability to test code before implementing it in hardware. This simulator/game/learning environment will make things great for users.

I haven't done too much with the world yet, so I don't have too many comments. Once I get some more experience, I'll add some suggestions.
