Little AIR application for generating images for brick display: NXT DRAWNot a full featured program as nxtRICeditV2 but has some unique features like taking snapshot with webcam and exporting as unoptimized ric file or as a robotc source file.

DiMastero, This thread is for finished robot projects I've added your blog to my RSS feeds, so I'll keep an eye on it. Post a notice in this thread when you've made a working prototype and we'll be sure to put it up. - Xander

Re: ATTENTION: Have a cool ROBOTC Project? Show it off!!
I have been trying to create self-balancing robots without gyro/ acceleration sensors. I first tried it using an ultrasonic sensor (which didn't work), but my second try was pretty OK. It used a third motor (without any power applied to it), which, staying level with the ground, tells the robot how much power to apply to the motors. Both were programmed in RobotC, and posted on my blog: Ultrasonic SegwayMotor SegwayPS: Oww... well, the above balance bots are pretty much finished, so I hope those are OK to be posted here . Sorry about the robotic arm one. PSS: thanks!

We (my brother and I) have finished our Binary Calculator using the LEGO Color Sensor and a single NXT 2.0 kit. For more information about how it works and a video, see my blog post. Hope you like it and we welcome any comments!

Re: ATTENTION: Have a cool ROBOTC Project? Show it off!!
We just completed a short blog and video on a project I did over the holiday. It uses RobotC to log a trip you took, and display it on Google Earth. It's really simple: you run the program, download the file, rename it, and click and you've got a map of where your NXT went. The blog post is here. http://dexterindustries.com/blog/2010/12/02/integrating-lego-and-google-earth-with-robotc/The video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B18_DT3LWsM&feature=player_embedded

Is it too late? If not, I should have mine up by the end of the day, or the the end of the week at the latest; it depends on how much homework I'll have today.

Re: ATTENTION: Have a cool ROBOTC Project? Show it off!!
I finished this communicating robot today. It uses the new HiTechnic magnetic field sensor to receive binary messages from a magnet mounted on a motor. The messages contain the angle the first motor was set to by the user, which is the angle the other motor needs to sync to. More accurate description available when you follow the link. DiMastero EDIT: with picture now; I forgot to post it :-/

Re: ATTENTION: Have a cool ROBOTC Project? Show it off!!
Gentlemen, I will add these robots to the ROBOTC community projects page today. I'll publish DiMastero's one today and set Eric's one to automatically publish on Friday. That way they're spread out a little.
Regards, Xander
