some things I want covered in wednesday's class is: Light Sensors and Line Tracking. Does anyone want to add to that list?

We can do that. Is there a particular RVW you want to see the line following in? For example, Palm Island or Operation Reset?

Not really, line following is line following :-) . It would be nice if it was shown on Palm Island because that is what i am working on.

What would you like to know about PID? Would you like to see how it is applied to line following?

Yes, that would be very nice. Even better, how to use multiple light sensors to speed up line following. :-)

I taught a lesson this year on using multiple light sensors for PID line following. I'll see if I can find those power point slides. Also, there is a wealth of info here on the forum that you can look at also. That's how I researched the topic.

Ive heard that line following is less efficient with two sensors but more precise. Honestly i thing using one sensor is fine, no need for two.

That was discussed at some length here: http://www.robotc.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=17250

In that thread, Xander links to a great article.
