Post subject:  Not installing software updates

My ROBOTC program says that the current version (4.27) is out of date. I downloaded the newer version (4.52)--it downloaded 180MB to my computer--but when I go to install it, nothing happens. The install wizard says that there is 0kb of software to be installed. Everything runs just fine, and there are no crashes, but nothing changes after the newer version is supposedly "successfully installed".
I have tried updating several times with no luck. I can't figure out what is going on.
Please help!

If you inside ROBOTC go to help -> About ROBOTC what version does it say on the lower left hand corner?
It should say ROBOTC 4.52.

It says "ROBOTC 4.27 (F/W: 10.27)"

I have also found that after installing the updates, it creates a new program (ROBOTC 3.x). Thus, it seems to be installing updates (including the WHOLE program) to that version. However, I do not have a license for the 3.x version. The version I have is 4.x.

Okay so assuming you have the keys to recover your license, try removing your license and completely uninstalling ROBOTC. Then reinstall the newest version and add your license. This does not seem to be something we can reproduce so it must be an issue with your specific install.

Uh, no, I don't think I have the keys to recover my license. Is there some place or way I can find it?
