Compatibility issues - RobotC for Lego & RobotC for Arduino
Hi ,
I was writing custom libraries for RobotC for arduino (V 3.13) for sometime and they used to work perfectly fine. Later i installed RobotC for LEGO (V 3.08) with basic RVW, it worked and later when i came back to RobotC for Arduino, many functions of my custom library stopped working. [The program gets compiled and downloads without any errors , but doesn't work on hardware!]
So which version of RC-Arduino and RC-LEGO would work together in a single computer without any issues like this?
Thanks in Advance.!

ROBOTC 3.13 will happily handle NXT as well, you just need to switch platforms. You can't have two versions of ROBOTC 3.x on the same system.

Hi, Thanks for the reply.! So can i download RobotC for Arduino V 3.13 and use it for both Arduino programming and RVW also.? In RC-Arduino V 3.13 , in Platform Type , i couldnt find NXT until i installed it (V 3.08) In a new computer, which software should i download and install to work with both NXT (RVW) and Arduino.? -- Li2 Innovations

You are right, there is no RVW in this build, weird.

Thanks for the heads up guys, I'm going to put this on our list of bugs and make sure someone looks into it. If you see any other problems with ROBOTC at all, please let us know so we can get them taken care of
