Post where is robot virtual world?
hi - I just purchased my robot virtual world, installed the software from the CD, and activated the license. I have a link on my desktop saying "ROBOTC Virtual Worlds - MINDSTORMS 3.x", but the only thing that comes up is the IDE for ROBOTC. is there a magic key somewhere - or another download - that unlocks the simulation piece of all this?
thanks,
Jim

Does this help? This was taken from the website. I don't have virtual worlds myself, but I might be able to help.

1.Open ROBOTC (from the icon on your desktop or Start Menu).
2.Click "Help" in the menu and select "Manage Licenses".
3.Click "Add License" in the menu and select a version of Robot Virtual Worlds from the "Product" drop-down menu.
4.Select "Start Trial" to begin your trial.
5.Close the License Management window.
6.Click "Robot" in the menu and set the "Compiler Target" to "Virtual Worlds".
7.Click "Window" in the menu and set "Select a Virtual World to Use" to any of the virtual worlds provided

Downloading Programs:

1.Click "File" in the menu and choose "Open Sample Program".
2.Navigate to the "Virtual Worlds\Basic Movement" folder.
3.Choose the "Moving Forward" sample program.
4.Click "Robot" in the menu and select "Compile and Download Program".

The Robot Virtual Worlds window will open to allow you to run your program in your previously selected Virtual World.
