Hi, I'm participating in the RVW competition and I'd like to know if the code submitted will have to perform and score the same amount of points or if it performs in a similar way it will be a valid submission or what other parameters will be taken in to account.. Regards.

Great Question!

Your score will not be thrown out if the final score of your submission code is in a reasonable margin of your submitted score.

Our virtual worlds are a simulation of real world physics. We understand that your code may not perform exactly the same way every time you run it, but we would like to see submission code as consistent as possible.

Thanks for the info, what will be the percent of tolerance or margin when validating the score that you will take and will you run it only once?

There is not a defined number. We will give you the benefit of the doubt. The only case where we would throw out a score is if it is clear that the program does not represent the submitted score.

Thanks, Lee
