 Quick question about gryo.
Does the gryo need to be in the center of the robot to run the best? Its not to hard to mount it in the middle of the robot, but at the same time, it would be a little easier mounting it on a better surface.
Thanks

 Re: Quick question about gryo.
The closer to the center of turning that the gyro is mounted, the better the readings that you will get.
EDIT: The above statement is based on my own experiences, but Xander knows a lot more about this than I do.

 Re: Quick question about gryo.
The position really doesn't matter, you can have it anywhere on your robot, as long as its orientation is correct. The gyro measures degrees per second, that doesn't change with position on the robot.

 Re: Quick question about gryo.
That is true, though not to be confused with an accelerometer. If this gyro you are talking about happens to be an IMU (gyro with accelerometer for drift control), then it does matter.
Most likely though, you are talking about the HT Gyro, in which case Xander said it all.
