I am slightly confused. I downloaded the 3rd party driver pack suggested in the threads, and now get numbers on my brick when I run the test file for the IR seeker.

However I don't know how to make the sensor appear in my drop down menu in the motors & sensor setup. Like to add it to my tele-op or autonomous templates. Did I not do something right? Is there some code I need to add to my templates to go get this driver? This also goes for the magnet sensor.

You need to enable HiTechnic and 3rd Party Sensors on the first tab in the motors and sensors setup.

The sensor will not appear in the drop down list. These are 3rd party so I don't get to add them to that list. Did you look at the video about installing the drivers? It's on the main page: [LINK].

After that, you should take a look at some of the examples I've created that come with the driver suite. The ones that are relevant to you are the ones starting with HTIRS2-test*.
