I was wondering why 2.0 verion of Robotc didn't have the Sensor Muliplexer in the motor and sensor setup window. I was also wondering if we are even allowed to use it for the compitition.

It would be really good to know this because i want to use sensors . Thank you for any responses.

If you have a look at the 3rd party driver suite, you'll find that all the sensors that are supported by the SMUX can be used with it. Be sure to read through the API documentation and have a look at some of the examples that come with it. http://rdpartyrobotcdr.sourceforge.net/

If you look through the FIRST manual, you'll see the SMUX is listed as one of the allowed sensors.

I went to the link that you sent me and then i went to a link insde that to download the Third Party Sensor. I'm not sure how program it SMUX now because it still doesn't show up in the Motor and Sensor Setup. I'm really glad i can use it but i just need to know how now if anyone could explain that to me.

I never said it would turn up in the Motor and Sensor Setup. You need to look at the examples that I wrote and you need to read the documentation that comes with it. The drivers are *not* part of the official ROBOTC package. As the name (3rd Party ROBOTC Drivers) suggests, they are made by people other than the folks at Robotics Academy, namely me They don't integrate with the IDE the way the built-ins ones do.

I will see about writing a "get started" document for these drivers, it seem you are not the only one who has trouble using them. I am not promising anything this week, though Writing good documentation is a very time consuming activity and this is something I do in my spare time.

* Using the drivers together with a SMUX

Anything you can think of that isn't covered by these topics?

I will also work on more comments in the example code. I am not going to change the way I use Doxygen to generate the HTML documentation. You'll just have to read around the tags in the comments. It's too much work to change it to something else and generate API documentation by hand.
