 Sensors
Hey, so i have a question about sensors for the ftc compitition. There are four ports for sensors on the NXT brick and my robotics team already has the touch multipier and I was wondering if there's any way to add more others sensors to use because we are already using all the ports we have??!? I would love any answers. thanks a bunch!!

 Re: Sensors
Until they develop & release additional multiplexers, I'm affraid we're extremely constrained in the number of sensors we can use. You could attempt to create your own multiplexor using the prototype board available from HiTechnic which I believe would be competition legal, but also quite a challenge?

 Re: Sensors
Your prayers have been answered by the HiTechnic Sensor MUX NXTasy.org article here: [ LINK] I'll be releasing a new driver suite later today that has full support for this SMUX for all the currently supported sensors. Regards, Xander

 Re: Sensors
Thanks for the head-up. This should make many FTC teams very happy.

 Re: Sensors
If you had read the FTC manuals, you would've seen the HiTechnic Sensor MUX as one of the allowed sensors It's been in there for weeks now, haha.

 Re: Sensors
Yes, I do recall reading that, but couldn't find where I saw it when I first replied to the OP. I want to say that there was a posting about a general purpose sensor mux last season too, but couldn't find that either.
