 RobotC 2.0
I believe the FTC is using robotC 2.0 this year, am I correct? And if so....will this still work with all the NXT sensors?
Thanks

 Re: ROBOTC 2.0
Hehe, the beauty of "RSN" is that there's no real deadline attached to it I have an internal build that seems very stable and a lot of the bugs that were still remaining are no more. Dick and Tim and are still working and testing non-stop to make sure 2.x will be a stable platform for you to use. From what I can see on the bug list is 1 high priority bug, a few medium ones and 3 low ones are left to be dealt with. I am sure that once those are ironed out, they will release 2.0. Remember, they're just as keen to release 2.x as you are to start playing with it Regards, Xander

If you've ever seen the movie "The Money Pit" you know that Real Soon Now actually means Two Weeks.

 Re: ROBOTC 2.0
We're working on ironing out all of the *known* bugs, because I'm sure if we released 2.0 with severe flaws that we would hear about it on the forums.
1.93 is a nice view of where we were at about a month ago, and it completely competition legal for FTC... so you should start playing with that now.

In the immortal words of Donald Rumsfeld: The same applies to bugs, of course.

 Re: ROBOTC 2.0
Ok ok, I'll wait a bit more. Hopefully the issues in 1.93 have been sorted out in 2.0 because they were pretty glaring bugs. But well done anyway on the IDE so far, very impressive work.
When MAC version?

Somewhere between right RSN and never, I think.

 Re: ROBOTC 2.0
Ha ha,no seriously. Are there any plans for a MAC version? Sorry if this topic had been though here before, I'm new to this forum (at least not to programming ) Also, will an announcement be made somewhere when 2.0 is released? /DirkM

 Re: ROBOTC 2.0
Hiya Dirk, This topic comes up every now and again and the answer from the devs has always been a resounding "There are currently no plans for a MAC version". I am pretty sure from recent conversations with them that there are currently still no plans for a MAC version. You can rest assured that ROBOTC 2.x will not be launched silently, it's a MAJOR improvement on all fronts so it's a pretty big deal. Regards, Xander

 Re: ROBOTC 2.0
When V2.0 (eventually) rears it head, will I be eligible for a free copy/upgrade seeing as I only purchased it 2 weeks ago and then got V1.40?
