robot c vex cant ge non vex servo to work

i have been programing with robot c and i cant get it to work with a none vex servo please help

To get any of the HiTechnic parts, i.e. motors, motor controlers, servos, etc., you have to have the platform type set to FTC. To do this select Robot->Platform Type->FIRST Tech Challenge (NXT). If this has been done and the problem is code related please give more details and post your code.
