 NXT Brain issue
I'm also having an issue with the NXT brain: it doesn't recognize the external battery, and we've charged it and installed the newest firmware (1.46). What possible causes could there be?

Try running the robot with one of the sample files anyway...We had the same problem but I tried that and it worked.

If your motors won't run, check your fuses, the y may have blown, we have 3 teams and 6 batteries, all of our stock fuses blew, but no problems w/ the replacements
by recognize, you mean the double battery symbol at the top rt?
