 Windows 7
I am running the windows 7 beta build 7000 at home. whenever I try to compile a program that I have made any changes to ( except for {}) , robotc freezes up and i have to end it and restart it. It restarts fine and will compile until i make any changes other than adding/removing {}. This happens even in xp compatibility mode with and without run as admin. Any suggestions?

 Re: Windows 7
Sorry, you won't get any support for Windows 7 until it's released.

 Re: Windows 7
All ROBOTC configuration (window size, debugger position, last NXT connected, mode, platform type, etc.) are stored in HKEY_CURRENT_USER in the registry.

 Re: Windows 7
well i just tested it and it gave me a config error and told me to reinstall. I cant install on school computers, but i can edit the Hickey current user directory. any hope for a robotc portable or a robotc.reg that i can run on every computer that i use? can I copy my resistry keys from home and put them on a school computer?

 Re: Windows 7
You have a native Linux version of RobotC? Oh, didn't think so. Seriously, that comment was about as helpful as a square wheel. Regards, Xander

 Re: Windows 7
windows 7 is no longer an issue. I exported the robotc registry entries to a robotc.reg and will try running that at school, before trying to start robotc from my flashdrive

 Re: Windows 7
While I find it cool that Microsoft has actually released Windows 7 for beta testing, I wouldn't do anything important on that computer, it is a beta version after all.
