Post New Team needs help!!!
Hi my team has entered FIRST, and this is our first year, so far we have been able to make the motors move, but not the servos. WE really need help with the programming, we read all the files, but we couldn't see the videos that were online so we couldn't make sense of how to program the rest of it. I would really like for some kind of basic outline or such for the programming and maybe a couple tips. If i am asking to much, i'm sorry, and any help would be much appreciated!

oh this is how far we've gotten with the programming (we didn't know how to use the templates):

task main ()

motor[motorC] = 80;
motor[motorB] = 80;

motor[motorC] = 0;
motor[motorB] = 0;

motor[motorC] = -80;
motor[motorB] = 80;

motor[motorC] = 0;
motor[motorB] = 0;

I am not going to summarize the language nor the syntax, but there are lots of ways to learn some tricks and tips. ... /index.htm

That site should be your best friend. It will tell you everything you need to know and what to do. That should answer *MOST* of your questions.

As for not knowing how to use the templates, all the instructions are written in the comment area, the part which is green. Generally there is a place for you to place the code, and the stuff around it is simply system stuff.

As for help, ask and you shall receive, but try and be more specific than this topic. :D.
