I can't seem to get any response from buttons 11 & 12 (the thumbstick buttons)
The Joystick Control panels shows them being pressed, but neither the tempBuffer or the joystick structures show any change to the btn variable. (looking at the debug / global variables)

Can anyone verify this? Does anyone have a solution. I'm hoping its a code issue and not that RobotC just isn't sending the value, but I can't see anything wrong.

sorry maybe i wasn't clear. There is no code to post. Its not a programming issue at all.

The RobotC debugger / joystick control panel doesn't seem to be sending the status of Buttons 11 and 12 to the robot.
Watching the joystick.btn variable (in the global variables debug window) while the program is running...
Buttons 1-10 indicate being pressed but nothing for 11 and 12.

There is no "visual" indication of the button being pressed... but if you look at the bottom of the "Primary Joystick", the numbers 10 and 11 appear, signifying button11 and button12 (index starts at 0...)

I believe only buttons 1-10 are sent from the Field Management System during competition. The data returned at the bottom of the joystick control window is the raw data from the directX input driver. I could be wrong, I'll look into it.

Yes, I saw the indicator on the bottom changes so I assumed that it was available at the robot side (and that the comments in the joystick driver says that it is).

But I agree with you I don't think its not making it out of the FMS though. I'm curious why not...
