 Re: IR seeker
Hi there, I've written a driver for it, you can download it here: [deleted] It comes with a small test program. Edit: The driver is now available here: [ LINK] Regards, Xander

 Re: IR seeker
Hello. I'm trying to use the IR Seeker for the soccer match. But I'm not ussing RobotC. I´ve seen the files that you posted, but there is no aplication in BrixC. I have readed the NXC guide, but I only see the way to use the command, but no in a file. Has anyone an example to use the IR seeker in NXC? I know this is not the better place to ask, but I´m a little desappointed because our robot doesn´t find the ball. We are using the NXTcam too, but the experience is worse than the other.
Sorry for my bad english, but write from Spain and I understand better than I write.

 Re: IR seeker
You should post this question on the NXTasy forums which can be found here: http://forums.nxtasy.orgI believe support for that sensor is built-in to NXC, you should ask there to be sure. Regards, Xander

 Re: IR seeker
Hi Xander,
Have you by any chance tried your driver with the new IR Seeker which just release last week (approx. May 3rd)?
My students claimed it did not work with new IR. But then, I have not tried it myself yet... Just wonder if you did.

 Re: IR seeker
I did and have a driver for it. You need to use the HTDIR driver, not the HTIRS one. Please download the latest version from SourceForge here: [ LINK]. The new IR Seeker uses another I2C address from the old one. Regards, Xander

 Re: IR seeker
My student said he did modify the address offset according to the new IR address setting from HiTechnic... But then, he is a 8th grader, must have made a mistake in playing with the offset and bitmask... THANK YOU for your driver, I'll definitely look into it.

 Re: IR seeker
Also please note that the minimal version is RobotC 1.46 or 1.47B. The urls for the downloads for these versions are included in the zip file.
Regards, Xander
