Hey ya!

I have an IR link from mindsensors that i use for communication between a NXT and a RCX.
The NXT sends messages to the RCX without any problems, but i need the RCX to send a acknowledge-message when it has completed its tasks.
I suppose that the RCX should send a message just like it would do if it was to communicate with another RCX, but how do i get the readings from the IR sensor in to the NXT?
It don´t have to be anything fancy, just a way for the NXT to read a value that´s seperated from zero.
