Post subject:  (Apology)Hi-Technic IRLink Sensor (NIL1046)

Mea Culpa - Once I read, and understood, some code and changed the way I was doing the includes, and compiler settings. It compiled and test1 works like a charm. I'm sorry for all the confusion and posts. I will do better in the future. Thank you all for your patience.
I am assuming that I need to programmatically replace the push button code.

I am still attempting to use the above sensor.( See earlier revised post below)
In RobotC there is no choice in the Motor and Sensor Setup for this as well as no commands in the left panel. The help does not have any instructions that would indicate that they are used for this sensor.
Are the necessary instructions, procedures, etc available?
I hate to ask this ---but am I 'flogging a dead horse'
