Post EV3 support for HiTechnic NXT Touch Sensor Multiplexer?
Hi,
I'm building a robot where I think it will use 8 touch sensors. Is there an EV3 driver for the
HiTechnic NXT Touch Sensor Multiplexer? (I have several of these NXT touch mplxrs from old
NXT robots.) And, if there is a driver, do I just list that file as an include file, at the top of
my program? (Yup - showing my ignorance at how a RobotC executable is built.) Or is there
a way, by setting the sensor #pragma at the start of a program, to collect data from the
sensor? I could then write a short routine to calculate the state of the 4 touch sensors
attached to the multiplexer, using the raw data collected.
Thanks for any info or ideas.
Howard

There is no built-in support for the HiTechnic Touch MUX, but it will probably work OK with the 3rd party sensor driver. The values in the driver may need a little tweaking because the EV3 uses a different analogue sensor and voltage.

You can download the driver suite from here: https://github.com/botbench/robotcdriversuite
