 Tutorial: ROBOTC + I2C
If you're keen to learn more about how to make your NXT chat with your digital sensors using I2C, then have a look at the following tutorial: ROBOTC I2C Howto (Part I). More advanced parts will follow shortly. Regards, Xander

 Re: Tutorial: ROBOTC + I2C
Do you have any sample code for communicating to and from an Arduino Micro Controller to Lego NXT Block.
I want to be able to connect a sensor to the Arduino and then have it relay some information back to the Lego NXT Brick.
I'll be connecting a sensor port directly to pins 4 and 5 of the Arduino.
Thank You

 Re: Tutorial: ROBOTC + I2C
Metaldust,
No, I don't. However, there is no generic code for communicating with an Arduino due to the fact that it completely depends on how you implemented the registers, commands and other things. Do you have the Arduino side programmed already? You have to setup the Arduino as an I2C slave, the NXT can only function as an I2C master and does not support multiple masters.

No I'm just leaning how to program it. I found some info at http://wiring.org.co/reference/librarie ... index.htmlI'll see what I can do. Thanks.
