Hi,

I've spent a couple of weeks trying to create a robot that could pipet liquids to ease some of the lab-work we're doing at my university. It's not perfect, but can be programmed to do really simple experiments. The idea is also to publish all the code and the design on this page: http://openwetware.org/wiki/Mike_Barnkob:Projects/Liquid_handling_robot, but I don't think it's quite done yet - one of my major problems is that the depth movements is imprecise.

Anyways here is a video of the robot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdvS5W-KMuI

Hope you like it :-)

Mike

Mike,

Nice job and very well documented :) If you'd like we can add it to the Cool Projects page on the ROBOTC website: http://www.robotc.net/community/projects/

Let me know what you think :)

Regards,
Xander

Mike,

The article is up. The YouTube video isn't working right just yet on the RC website, I'll try to fix that. I also posted it on my own blog.
