I have launched a new weekly video blog dedicated to robotics, robotics news and Lego robots, both Mindstorms and Power Functions based.

It's early days yet, and very rough around the edges, but with a bit of time and love I'm hoping to shape it into a great robotics destination. As my budget and skills grow I hope to start mixing the Lego up with some other systems like Arduino and Raspberry Pi.

I think the mechanicals are about finished for Marlon now, so time to get him a few sensors and get back into a bit of RobotC:-)

I've added Marlon's sensor system now including a 'vision' system consisting of twin ultrasound sensors and a colour sensor, with twin servos to give horizontal and vertical movement to this 'vision'. This readings from this will be combined with the gyro and accelerometer data to give him a sense of where he is in 3D space. The vid is at:
