This may sound weird, but what can you do in C that you can't in ROBOTC? Meaning that if I were to include a standard C header file in a ROBOTC program and use its functions, would it work? for example if I were to include stdlib.h for some of its functions like rand or its string manipulation functions.

Pointers to functions don't work, arrays with more than 2 dimensions won't work, probably other things too :)

I reckon you try it and see how well it'll work. I managed to port Atmel's malloc() and free() libc stuff to ROBOTC without too much trouble.
