Post VEX 75Mhz Transmitter vs. JoyStick and Vexnet key 802.11
For competitions, which system is perferred?
I had a student that would like to use the 75Mhz transmitter/controller because we had occasional problems with communications loss when using the Joystick and USB keys. Does anyone know what could have caused the loss of comunication?

Official VEX Robotics Competitions are moving more and more toward VEXnet-only. It's up to local tournament managers whether they want to support the 75MHz system or not.

If you're getting dropouts, check your system for:
- low robot battery
- low backup battery
- loose VEXnet connection
- flaky VEXnet keys
