Logitech Controllers for Virtual Worlds

Post Logitech Controllers for Virtual Worlds
We purchased some of the Logitech Gamepads F310 to use with Virtual Worlds. We open a sample program under the virtual worlds folder (dual joystick control), and when I open up the joystick control window, it says "joystick not connected". I refresh the list, and nothing. Any idea as to what I am doing wrong?

YOu need to set up the F310 controller in "DirectX" compatability mode.
