Hello all. I'm pretty much new to the robotc programming world, I didn't know it existed until 4 weeks ago. Anyhow, I built a car, with an accelerometer and a shaft encoder, that it is going to be powered by an Estes rocket. All I need is to create a code that will acquire the data from bot sensors and send it to back to my computer. I'm using the joystick to ignite the rocket btw. All help will be very much appreciated.

There's about a dozen videos on using the encoders found here: http://www.education.rec.ri.cmu.edu/pro ... index.html

You'll find some in the Movement section and others in the Sensing section. Also try looking at the included sample programs in ROBOTC.

Thanks for the reply. I couldn't fin any videos on the webpage you posted, and I have gone through all the tutorials included on robotC and checked the sample programs. None of them help me with what I need, they all only describe how to control the movement of the car with using such sensors. My car does not have any electric motors, it is going to be powered by a rocket engine. I will post a video tomorrow of the car in action to see if that helps describe what type of program do I need.

Check out the "writeDebugStream" command in ROBOTC: http://www.robotc.net/support/vex/WebHelpCortex/

Go to ROBOTC Functions > Debug
