Error while downloading RobotC Firmware

Post Error while downloading RobotC Firmware
I am trying to download RobotC firmware via VexNet and I am getting the following message:

Bootload failed: Controller failed to respond to autobaud sequence.

I am using the cortex and have all current drivers installed. I followed all the driections provided in syncing the controler to the cortex.

Are you using the latest version of ROBOTC (2.30)?

If the download fails after you've successfully synced the Cortex, try power cycling the entire system. Also, make sure the the "Prolific USB-to-Serial" option is chosen as the Connection method in preferences.
