 VexNet Joystick
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but could someone please explain to me why the new VexNet joystick constantly reports "failed to read flash file pointer map", flashes all red lights and then resets? After it resets, it emits an extremely high pitched noise. It has also gotten progressively worse, it would randomly disconnect and now it has developed into an issue where the all the lights turn red once turned on. If I leave it sitting for a while, however, it behaves correctly for a couple seconds and then dies again.

 Re: VexNet Joystick
Hmm sorry to hear that. It doesn't seem to be a ROBOTC related issue, so you should give IFI a call. They should be able to sort this out as it seems to be an issue with the VEXnet controller or Master Firmware.
Here is their help number: 903.453.0802
Hope that helps.
