Will upgrade work with both VexNet and crystals?

Post Will upgrade work with both VexNet and crystals?
Hi -

I understand that we have to upgrade to a new version of RobotC that supports VexNet. Once we have done that, can we still program other robots that are using crystals? Or do we have to use two machines until we upgrade the other robot controllers?

We verified last night that the template in v 1.98 3 works for both Vexnet and crystals.
