Post Teaching Robot C
We have a modular lab, which means we have many networked computers for students to use. Last year was our first year with Robot C and it wasn't intended to be a class all by itself. This year, because of student interest, we do have a class all by itself. My question is this: does anyone else install the Teaching RobotC curriculum on the same computers the students use for programming the Legos NXT? Last semester, I would show the students video files and demonstrate how to do certain tasks via my laptop, but I am thinking I might try to place this software on each machine for the students to use by themselves.

Any thoughts?
Thank you.

I've seen it done as you described, and it works well. The students have headphones, and they are able to watch the lessons. Therefore, they are able to move throughout the curriculum at their own pace.

Thank you. This is what I was thinking but wanted to get someone else's opinion.
