In order to continue using ROBOTC beyond the 30 day trial, you will need to purchase a license. You can find all of our purchasing options, including prices, on our purchase page: http://www.robotc.net/purchase/

The annual licenses remain active for 365 days from the time of activation. We have a full breakdown of each license type on our wiki page, here.

When you install ROBOTC, it automatically gives you a free 30 days. This is a one-time deal, you are not allowed to do this more than once.

For a single user, there are two licensing options. One of them is a 365 day license that costs $49, and the other is a permanent license that costs $79.

Post format leaves you with a clean slate, What you bought disappears. :crying: At least I think so.

This is true. If you install and activate ROBOTC and then reformat the computer, you will lose the activation for that particular installation of ROBOTC (even if the hardware is the same, it will require another activation to get a new installation of ROBOTC activated). For this reason, we always recommend deactivating your ROBOTC licenses if possible (if they are perpetual) before formatting the computer. 365 day licenses unfortunately do not have the option to deactivate, so make sure to choose carefully before activating them on a computer.

If you run into an issue with lost activations, you can always contact us directly via support@robotc.net and we may be able to deactivate or reset the license on our end (this is done on a case-by-case basis).
