This appears to be a Windows error that appears when the .NET framework is damaged or corrupted. To fix this, navigate to the Windows Control Panel (Windows + X keyboard shortcut from the Desktop), navigate to the Add/Remove Programs, click on the .NET framework and select the 'Repair' option that appears.

If this doesn't work, you may need to reinstall the .NET framework from scratch; in this case, uninstall the .NET framework the download and install the new installation from Microsoft's website: ... px?id=6523

If reinstalling the .NET framework doesn't solve the issue, you will need to contact your IT department or a qualified technician to see what the underlying problem could be; from what I've been able to research on this issue, it could be caused by corrupt files, invalid registry entries, or possible viral infections (amongst other things).

Thank you for the info.

When I went to the control panel, I could not find the .net framework in the list. So, I went to "Turn windows features on and off", enable all .net framework features. Since I don't know which one(s) need to be activated, I activated all of them. Then, i went to control panel to see if the .net frameworks shows up... well it is not there. (strange...) However, according the "features list", they have been added. So, I tried the installation of RobotC. The installation was successful.

Thank you for the guide...

Out of curiosity, what language is RobotC developed in? Is it C#?
