Continuous rotation servo problems

Post Continuous rotation servo problems
I am having some trouble with a continuous rotation servo.
I have
Code:
if(joy1Btn(1)==1){
 servo[servo1]=servo[servo1] + 1;
 wait1Msec(40);}
 
 if(joy1Btn(3)==1){
  servo[servo1]=servo[servo1] - 1;
  wait1Msec(40);}


The code is supposed to make the servo move one degree at a time but it seems to want to make the servo turn 1 rotation at a time. Someone please tell me how continuous rotation servos are programmed.

Well, it seems in the debugger that if the desired servo value is much greater than 125 or so, that the servo turns so that the servo value moves up, and if the desired servo value is much less than 125, the servo turns so the servo value moves down.

A continuous rotation servo is only relative, it is not absolute. The values it receives are used to control speed and direction, not position.
