Post bluetooth raw mode
Hi,

I am unsure the uses of bluetooth raw mode. Would this increase the speed of the bluetooth?

Raw BlueTooth is just that. None of the weirdo LEGO protocols, just the raw bytes. This allows you to communicate with some devices other than NXTs. Steve Hassenplugs "Green Monster" RoboMaggellan robot used raw BlueTooth to communicate with a GPS.

Mmm, no. Once raw mode is activated in a program, you can't change it back. Of course it still works for both modes, but as soon as you activate it, you can only use raw mode for the remainder of that program.
