Post Multiple robot communication with one bluetooth?
Hello everyone,

Can I use one bluetooth adapter to communicate with 4 NXT/TETRIX robots using 1 joystick per robot? Like FTC Challenge?

Thanks

ROBOTC only supports a single communication to an NXT robot - meaning support for only one robot and one bluetooth adapter at a time.

The FTC Field Management system previously was programming in LabVIEW and supported 4 NXT via Bluetooth to a single bluetooth adapter, but the connection was not very robust and caused issues at many tournaments. This is one of the primary reasons FTC switched to use the "Samantha" module which supports using 802.11 wifi from the PC to the NXT.

All of the communication between the NXT and the PC must go through the Fantom communication library - you may want to research that method if you're looking creating your own application to control multiple NXTs from a single PC/Bluetooth Adapter.
