 Robot C Books?
Does anyone have suggestions for Robot C books? I am a coach of a Mindstorm team now making the transition to Robot C. Thanks

 Re: Robot C Books?
There aren't any RobotC books. There are books about robotics and C, but no RobotC books. However, I do plan to write a book about RobotC eventually.

 Re: Robot C Books?
I went through some of the examples in the program but I would like to be able to give my team an introduction to RobotC. I know there are classes but they are a tad pricy for my "young" 9-14 year old team. No books....how is that POSSIBLE?

This isn't a book per se, but it is a 70+ page PDF that helped me out a lot; I used it most when I was in the age range of your team, and it's really great: http://carrot.whitman.edu/Robots/notes.pdf- Leon

For a "young" team, the RobotC tutorial should be very helpful at least to start with. http://www.robotc.net/education/curriculum/nxt/

 Re: Robot C Books?
Yes, I can attest to that as it's the material I used to start learning RobotC when I was 12 (about a year ago). It supplies a solid foundation to work upon. After I completed that, pretty much all the help I needed was in the internal documentation. Of course, the forums have also been a great help.

 Re: Robot C Books?
Hi everyone, I wrote something for my center's students - http://learn.stormingrobots.com. Scroll down to see the RobotC Packet I, and Packet II sections. I have added in many samples . Now, they are not meant to be holding hand type of tutorials. It is far from professional quality. I wrote them up within just a 3 weeks quickly just for my center's student to use. That's was back when RobotC was in early version 3. I will need to spend sometime to do some update, for sure. Hope other kids may find them useful. Feedback is welcomed too.
